School events we cater
Most schools book us for one of a handful of days on the calendar. Each one has its own rhythm, and we plan the setup around it rather than dropping the same thing everywhere.
- Field days: an icy slush cart or snow cone cart between races, parked right at the edge of the field.
- Fun fairs and PTA carnivals: the classic trio of popcorn, cotton candy and slush. See our carnival and fundraiser carts.
- End-of-year parties: soft serve or a pizza lunch to send the whole school into summer.
- Graduations and moving-up days: a real celebration spread for families after the ceremony. More ideas on our graduation page.
- Teacher and staff appreciation: a coffee and espresso bar, crepes or mini donuts for the staff room.
- Family nights and open houses: a warm soft pretzel cart or popcorn while families walk the halls.
Why the slush cart is the school favorite
If you only book one thing for a school event, make it the slush cart. It rolls onto a field, a blacktop or a gym floor, needs one standard outlet, and our attendant pours bright, cold cups quickly, so a whole grade moves through without a long wait. Kids get to pick a flavor or mix two, and nobody needs a spoon or a plate.
For big schools we add a second cart or pair the slush cart with popcorn, so two lines run side by side. Tell us your headcount and how long each class has outside and we will suggest the right setup.
Built for big groups and tight schedules
Schools have a few needs a backyard party doesn't, and we plan for them from the first email.
- Fully staffed: our crew runs every cart and station, start to finish. No parent volunteers stuck behind a machine.
- Class rotations: we plan carts and servers around your schedule so each class gets served within its time slot.
- Indoors or out: fields, blacktops, gyms, cafeterias and auditoriums. We go over space and power with you before the day.
- A clear written quote: one document with the date, the carts, the serving time and the total, ready to share with your principal or PTA board.
- We clean up: when the bell rings, we pack up and leave the space the way we found it.
Planning tips for school organizers
Book early for June. End-of-year parties, field days and graduations all land in the same few weeks, and those dates fill first. Three to four weeks ahead is a good habit; for June, earlier is better.
Share the schedule. The single most useful thing you can send us is the timetable: when the first class comes out, how long each group has, and when the day ends. That tells us how many carts and servers you need.
Think about the weather. For outdoor events, pick a covered backup spot (a pavilion, a gym or a breezeway) so the carts can move if it rains. Carts are compact, so a backup is easy to plan.
Ask about allergies early. Tell us what your students need and we will share ingredients and suggest the best options. Our carts and stations use shared equipment, so we can't promise an allergen-free setup.
Pricing for schools
Every cart and station is priced from a 50-guest starting point with 2 hours of serving and our crew included, and your written quote is built for your exact headcount. The slush cart starts from $400 for 50 guests plus $5 per extra guest, which makes it one of the easiest ways to treat a full grade. See every option on the carts page and the stations page, or request a quote and tell us your budget.
