Popped in the kettle, served warm
Our popcorn is made the old-fashioned way: kernels and oil go into the kettle, the lid lifts as it fills, and the whole batch tumbles into the glass case. Guests see it, hear it and smell it before they taste it. Our attendant scoops it into striped paper bags or boxes and keeps fresh batches coming so nobody gets the stale bottom of the case.
Classic salted is what most hosts choose, and it's what we recommend for big mixed crowds. Ask us about sweeter or flavored options for your event and we'll tell you what's available on your date.

What you get with popcorn catering
The popcorn cart starts at $450 for 50 guests. That covers the cart and kettle, our attendant for two hours of serving, the kernels, oil and salt, serving bags or boxes, napkins, setup and cleanup. Travel within our NY and NJ service area is included, and the written quote confirms the details.
An extra hour of serving is $150, and larger guest counts are quoted exactly. There's no event minimum.
Built for big crowds and long events
Popcorn is one of the easiest treats to serve to a lot of people. A bag is scooped in a moment, and the kettle refills the case in short cycles, so lines rarely build up. That makes the cart a strong pick for open houses, fun fairs and events where guests arrive in waves over several hours rather than all at once.
Planning something long, like a full-day fair or an evening event? Add serving hours and the cart keeps popping as long as you need it; we'll suggest the right amount of time on your quote.
If guests will take popcorn back to their seats for a movie or a show, ask about larger serving sizes so the bag lasts through the first act.
Setting up the popcorn cart
The cart needs a level spot about the size of a small table, plus space behind it for our attendant. Popcorn kettles get hot and draw a good amount of power, so we'll want an outlet the kettle doesn't share with other big appliances; we'll confirm the details for your venue ahead of time.
Indoors, the cart works well in gyms, lobbies, auditoriums and community rooms. The smell travels, which is usually the point, but let us know if your building has any rules about cooking equipment so we can plan around them.
Outdoors, give the cart a shaded or covered spot. Popcorn stays crisp in dry weather, and the glass case keeps it protected from a passing breeze.
Movie nights, open houses and more
Schools book the popcorn cart for movie nights, book fairs and family nights; see how it fits into our school event options. It's a natural at carnivals and fundraisers, and companies use it for product launches, open houses and corporate events where guests mingle for hours.
Make it a fairground corner
Popcorn and cotton candy are the classic pair: book them together as a bundled pair and you've got sweet and salty side by side. Learn more about our cotton candy cart, or add something warm and doughy with the soft pretzel cart.
