Party food stations and carts across New York
New York parties change completely from one area to the next, so we've written dedicated pages for the places we hear from most:
- Westchester party food carts: estate-size backyards, club venues and busy school districts
- Long Island party carts: Nassau's suburban yards, Suffolk's pool parties and East End summers
- Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island food carts: brownstone backyards, rooftops, block parties and Staten Island's suburban streets
Manhattan and the Bronx
In Manhattan, most of our events are indoors or up high: office lobbies, conference floors, building amenity spaces and rooftop terraces. Our carts are compact enough for a loading dock and a freight elevator, and a popcorn cart or Coffee & Espresso Bar turns an ordinary afternoon at the office into an event. Buildings almost always have rules for outside caterers and deliveries, so bring in your building management early.
The Bronx has its own mix: apartment-building community rooms, school yards, and quieter residential corners like Riverdale, Throgs Neck and City Island where backyard parties happen. Parks such as Pelham Bay Park and Van Cortlandt Park host plenty of group gatherings, with rules set by the city's parks department.
Westchester, Long Island and Orange County
North of the city, Westchester's big yards and club venues suit a full station plus carts. Out east, Nassau and Suffolk counties are backyard and pool-party territory, with East End summer parties stretching into September.
We also head up to Orange County, to towns like Goshen, Warwick, Middletown, Cornwall and Newburgh, where parties often happen on large properties, farms and town fields. Wide-open space there makes room for our bigger setups, like a Live Oven Pizza station and a slush cart side by side. If you're not sure your town is covered, ask; we'll tell you straight.
What works where
Rooftops and lobbies: compact carts like popcorn, cotton candy and soft serve. Backyards with space: pizza from the oven, a Fry Bar and a soft serve cart. Hot summer fields and school events: a slush cart or snow cone cart. Block parties: a mix that keeps the line moving all afternoon. Every option comes with our crew, because we're a full-service caterer, not a drop-off service.
Travel, bridges and logistics in New York
Travel within our New York and New Jersey service area is included, and that covers bridges and tolls too. In the city, the big variables are parking and access: tell us where our vehicle can stop to unload, whether there's a loading dock or service elevator, and how far the setup spot is from the curb.
Planning a street party? Block party and street-event permits are the organizer's responsibility, so check your city or town's street-event permit rules well ahead. Most carts plug into a standard outdoor outlet; we'll confirm power and space for your setup on the quote.
The New York party calendar
Spring and early summer are busiest, with school field days, graduations and end-of-year parties stacked through June. Summer weekends bring backyard birthdays, pool parties and block parties, and fall keeps going with fundraisers, fairs and company events. Indoor office and building events run all year. For a spring or summer weekend, three to four weeks of notice is a smart move.
