Why food stations beat boxed lunches at corporate events
Catered trays sit out and go cold. A station cooks to order, so the food is hot or cold exactly when it's supposed to be, and the line itself becomes a place where people from other teams actually talk to each other.
For organizers, the appeal is simple: one booking, no setup, no cleanup. Our crew arrives ahead of time, serves your team for the agreed window and leaves the space the way we found it. You focus on the program, the speakers or the clients.
Stations also say something about how a company treats its people. An espresso made to order or a fresh slice from the oven reads as a real thank-you, which is why appreciation days, retention events and client open houses are where live food makes the biggest impression. It works for a team of forty in an office lobby or a few hundred on a summer lawn.
Popular corporate event food stations and carts
For morning events, all-hands meetings and open houses, the coffee and espresso bar is the easy winner: lattes and cappuccinos made by our baristas, plus tea and hot chocolate. Pair it with the bagel bar for a brunch-style start.
Afternoon appreciation events and summer picnics call for something fun. The soft serve cart and the popcorn cart roll easily into a lobby or onto a lawn. For lunch or a bigger crowd, the Live Oven Pizza station and the fry bar feed people well without anyone needing a fork and knife.
- Morning kickoffs: coffee and espresso bar, bagel bar
- Employee appreciation: soft serve cart, mini donuts, popcorn
- Company picnics: pizza, fry bar, slush cart
- Client events and launches: crepe bar, coffee bar, waffle pops
Planning tips for office and company events
Start with the building. Many offices and venues have rules about where food can be served, loading access and power. Ask your facilities team early, then share what you learn with us; we'll confirm space and power for your exact setup on your quote.
For about 100 people, one main station plus one treat is a comfortable spread. If your event is staggered, like an open house where people come and go, one station running the full window often works better than several running briefly. Every booking includes two hours of serving, and extra hours can be added for longer events.
Indoor lobbies, cafeterias and conference floors work well for carts, which are compact and roll through standard doorways in most buildings. The pizza oven and fry bar usually do best outdoors or in a space your venue approves.
