Carnival & Fundraiser Food Carts

Nothing says fun fair like the smell of fresh popcorn and a cloud of cotton candy spinning at the cart. We bring staffed carnival and fundraiser food carts to school fun fairs, PTA carnivals, family nights and community fundraisers across New Jersey and New York. The organizer books the carts, and our crew serves the crowd as the event's treat, so volunteers are free to run the games and activities.

Why carnival food carts make the event

A carnival is a sensory event, and the food is a big part of it. Bright striped carts, the sound of the popcorn kettle and kids holding cones of shaved ice are what turn a gym or a field into a fair.

For organizers and PTA committees, the bigger win is labor. Running a food table usually means a rotation of volunteers, a supply run and a long cleanup. With our carts, our crew handles setup, serving and cleanup, and your volunteers can focus on games, raffles and the people who came.

Carts also help a fun fair look and feel finished. A few matching striped carts placed around the grounds give the event a sense of polish that a folding table with a hand-written sign can't match.

Classic carnival carts and fun-fair favorites

The core lineup almost picks itself: a popcorn cart and a cotton candy cart, which we offer as a pair. Add a snow cone cart or a slush cart for warm-weather events, and a soft pretzel cart for something salty and filling.

For bigger family nights where guests want a real meal, pair the carts with the Live Oven Pizza station or the fry bar. Sweet stations like churros and fried Oreos or mini donuts also fit the fair feeling.

  • School fun fairs: slush, cotton candy, popcorn
  • PTA carnivals: popcorn + cotton candy pair, snow cones, soft pretzels
  • Family nights: pizza, fry bar, soft serve
  • Community fundraisers: a mix of carts spread across the grounds

How it works for fundraisers

The organizer books and pays for the carts, and our crew serves everyone at the event. We don't sell to attendees or handle money at the cart. How you structure your fundraiser, whether through admission, ticket bundles, sponsors or donations, is your committee's decision, and we simply serve the crowd as part of the event you've put together.

Many committees find that covering the food up front makes the event feel more generous and keeps lines simple, since nobody is fumbling for change at the cart.

Planning tips for carnivals and fun fairs

Carts are compact and roll onto a field, blacktop or gym floor. Most plug into a standard outlet, and we'll confirm space and power for your exact setup on your quote. Indoor gym events work well for popcorn, cotton candy and pretzels.

For about 100 guests, two or three carts give a real fair feeling without long waits. For a larger crowd, add carts rather than extending one, and place them in separate spots so lines don't merge. Every booking includes two hours of serving, and extra hours can be added for longer events.

School events fill up in late spring, so reach out early. Our school events page has more ideas for field days and end-of-year celebrations.

Sample carnival lineups

The popcorn and cotton candy pair is the classic place to start, from $800 for 50 guests with two hours of serving and our crew included. From there, committees build out:

  • Popcorn + cotton candy pair
  • Popcorn + cotton candy pair + snow cone cart for a warm-weather fair
  • Slush cart + soft pretzel cart for a field day
  • The Big One (pizza + fry bar + soft serve + slush cart) for a family night

How booking works

Send a quote request with the date, location, expected attendance and the carts you like. We'll confirm availability and send a written quote your committee can approve. Travel within our New York and New Jersey service area is included. Once you approve the quote, your date is held.

FAQ

Carnivals & fundraisers FAQ

Do you sell food to guests at our carnival?

No. The organizer books and pays for the carts, and our crew serves everyone at the event. We don't handle sales at the cart.

Can the carts set up inside a school gym?

Often, yes. Popcorn, cotton candy and pretzel carts work well indoors. We'll go over space and power with you, and the school's own rules come first.

How many carts do we need for our fun fair?

For about 100 guests, two or three carts usually feel festive without long lines; a smaller crowd may need just one or two. Tell us your expected attendance and we'll suggest a lineup.

Can a PTA or school committee book with you?

Yes. PTAs, committees and community groups book with us regularly. We'll send a written quote your group can approve.

Can you serve at an evening family night?

Yes. Tell us your start and end times, and we'll plan the serving window. Extra hours beyond the included two can be added to your quote.

What about allergies at a school event?

Tell us what your guests need and we'll share ingredients on request and help you choose. Our carts use shared equipment, so we can't promise an allergen-free setup.

Ready to plan the fun part?

Tell us your date, town and guest count. We’ll send back a clear written quote, usually with a suggestion or two.
