Shore summers and beach-town parties
Monmouth's coast runs through towns like Sea Bright, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Belmar, Spring Lake, Sea Girt and Manasquan. Summer here means backyard parties a few blocks from the boardwalk, beach-house weekends and long afternoons when it's hot and humid well into the evening.
That's exactly when a slush cart or snow cone cart earns its spot. Both serve something icy fast, and they roll onto a lawn, driveway or patio. If your party is near the beach itself, check your town's beach and boardwalk rules first; many Shore towns restrict food service on the sand.
Inland Monmouth: big yards and busy towns
West of the Parkway, towns like Holmdel, Colts Neck, Marlboro, Manalapan, Freehold and Middletown have large properties where a Live Oven Pizza station and a couple of carts fit easily. Rumson and Fair Haven along the Navesink offer riverfront yards, and Red Bank has a lively downtown with plenty of event spaces.
Big county parks like Holmdel Park and Thompson Park are popular for group gatherings. Food rules vary by park, so ask the county parks system before you plan.
Party food carts for Monmouth County events
For a Shore birthday, try soft serve plus a Fry Bar, our Backyard Bash pack, from $950 for 50 guests. For a bigger summer bash, The Big One adds a pizza oven and a slush cart, from $2,550 for 50 guests. End-of-summer neighborhood parties and swim-club days love the classic popcorn cart and cotton candy.
Fall brings county fair season, town festivals and school fundraisers, where midway favorites like soft pretzels and cotton candy feel right at home. Our carnivals and fundraisers page has ideas.
Heat, sun and outdoor setups
Summer at the Shore can be brutal on equipment and guests. Plan on a tent or shady spot for the carts, and give us a heads-up if the setup is on sand, gravel or a slope. Most carts plug into a standard outdoor outlet; we confirm power for your exact setup on the quote. For schools wrapping up the year in June heat, a slush cart on the field is hard to beat; see our school event options.
Booking a summer weekend
Summer weekends at the Shore go fast, especially around Memorial Day, the Fourth of July and Labor Day. Book three to four weeks ahead when you can. Travel within our service area is included, and summer beach traffic is our problem, not yours; we plan arrival times around it.
